ABOUT SAFEHAVEN INTERNATIONAL

Established in 2002, Safehaven International is a private, non-profit, 501(c)(3) organizationestablished to provide services and education programs to domestic violence victims and theirfamilies. A pioneer in this type of advocacy service, Safehaven International bridges the gap betweenfamily, current advocacy groups, and law enforcement.

Safehaven International’s mission is to provide protection, transportation, and educational services to victims of domestic violence and their families. We do this by coordinating with law enforcement agencies and other advocacy groups including each state’s Department of Public Safety, Attorney General’s Office, Council on Domestic Violence, Department of Social Services, and the YWCA.

Even though Safehaven International is concerned with the family unit as a whole, we feel profoundly protective of children in families touched by violence, spousal interference, and kidnappings. Our intelligence network and specialized agents give us a distinct advantage in finding and retrieving of children who are caught up in parental and family crisis. It is our successes in safeguarding these innocent victims that we qualify our existence and our dedication to the mission of Safehaven International.

Although Safehaven International is primarily located along the Wasatch Front, we also have agents in several other major cities, creating a presence of professional services. We are confident this program will benefit victims and other advocacy groups nationwide.
